At the left, are two pictures of me, the Webmaster of The Breathless Moon.
The fairly grainy, but a bit older picture of me, was taken a few years ago at the computer where I spend many evenings.
Taken by my "cheesy" 3-In-1 pen-cam, I am probably working on sound files or a
web page. The picture below is a more recent picture where I am
sporting a full beard. (Eh, I do not know if I will keep the beard at
this time, but either way, the moustache stays!)
I have been interested my family's history for many years,
often recalling fond memories of my grandmother who would tell stories she fondly
remembered about our family history and ancestors. Though she wrote very little down, bits
and pieces were tucked safely away for me to later explore. In time, I became the family
historian and took on the task of trying to preserve what I knew and rediscovered,
through diligent efforts, what
was lost to time.
Computers fascinate me. I began tinkering with the
building blocks of computers back in the latter 1970s. Today, I am
amazed at what computers can accomplish and how they have become an integral
part of our lives. Teaching myself computer skills, I
learned how to design web pages and build websites on my own. In creating The
Breathless Moon, I wanted to share what I discovered about my family
ancestry with everyone through
this website. But what can I say about myself?
I do not consider myself ordinary nor do I consider myself as
extraordinary. Like everyone else, I have a passion for the things I
enjoy and treasure greatly. In the grand scheme of things, I will live
out my life like everyone else - for better or for worse. Along the
way, I share my life's experiences with others. In return, they will
share their experiences with me. In the fullness of time, our lives
will be enriched.
When my time comes to depart this world and move on, I hope
to leave "a little something" for future generations to remember through the
efforts I have assembled here. Here, it is not my intention to be
remembered alone, but rather remembered and cherished as part of family rich
in history, tradition and memories.
