Victor - The Rev. Charlie Lewis Willis, 83, of Victor died Oct. 2, 1998, in a Beckley hospital after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of Victor, a Baptist minister with more than 50 years' service pastoring many local churches, a member of Mount Cove Baptist Church and a retired miner. Surviving: wife, Josephine Willis; daughters, Merri King of Fayetteville, Patricia Sevy of Cross Lanes, Ammie Neal of Fayetteville, Nioka Cole of Kernersville, N.C.; sons, Reginald, Shirley and Grayson Willis, all of Victor, Charlie Willis of Rittman, Ohio, Timothy Willis of Dalton, Ohio; sister, Verma Wilson of Victor; brothers, Crate Willis of Victor, Alonzo Willis of Grafton, Ohio; 33 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Ansted, with the Rev. Paul Legg officiating. Burial will be in the Willis cemetery, Victor. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Bunker Hill - Theresa Lynn Willis, 32, of Bunker Hill, Berkeley County, formerly of Ansted, died Nov. 5, 1999, in Sam Black Church. She was an eight-year resident of Bunker Hill and a certified nursing assistant. She was born in Montgomery.
